I've got one like that from a year ago, I've pulled every screw and catch I can find and it won't budge. I'm ready to use the armstrong method as I'm tired of tripping over it.

    My guess -

You need to remove the bracket on the front side of the board that held the fans. Then it should come out easily.

I belive form the pic this one has the small tabs that are twisted along the outside of the board. Look for those and take pliers and straiten them back out...all the way around. It is hard to see, but that is what it looks like. then it should slide towards the front of the server to fee itself from the "tabs".

I had a pic, but photosbucket is down right now and can't upload it.

The board needs to slide to the left. It is held in place by metal pins or whatever they are called. Circled in red. There is usually a tab that needs to be pressed to allow the board to release.

I've seen mother boards like this. You remove all the screws and it still won't budge.

    Keep looking, you'll find it.

that bent tab is DEFINITELY there...pic 2 on top about 30-40% over...there is at least one there that needs to be bent back straight.

There are two steps here. First, on the left side of the picture is a black bar, pull it up. This loosens the compartment holding the CD/floppy and hard drives. Once loose, push it forward to move it out of the way.

Then pull up on that blue button in the middle of the motherboard, and slide the board back.

That looks like a Dell or HP some times Dell are tough. Yes on the front screws, yes on the finger knurl. and yes on straightening the slide catches also there is a blue button about 1/2 in in diameter that needs to be pulled up or just smack them side ways with a hammer , they pop right off. also on some Dells and HPs there are some times little blue plastic that need to come off, and also smack each spike (if any) to knock it off.

Ones setting around for a while can be stubborn. I have worked for an hour on some and gave up and threw it in the scrap metal pile only to find out later when I tossed it the MB just fell out.

P.S. Wait tell ya get a Cisco or an old IBM U5 165 KG. Then take 2 Aspirins and call me.
