large score just some questions from more experienced than I

So i picked up this box from a guy I meet. He sells copy machines and the old ones he tears down as they are no longer worth anything. So basically i got a large box 3 feet by 3 feet and about 3 feet high, but that was only half of what he had as I had an almost full load. Also got 10 towers about half of what he had. So the low grade brown boards do you guys pull the copper and aluminum off i started too but i also sell about 2 or 3 tons of iron a week so time is kinda filled im saving them for a rainy day project. I have a buyer that pays .10 a pound for low grade boards that is local to me. I have been saving all high grade boards to ship or whatever i figure out when I have a lot of them I know theres quite a few that will go in that pile ive read quite a bit and just want to know what the best method is. I know its time vs cash but just want to know what the the best course for me is. I mostly do appliances but have made the move into ewaste its been going good just want to make sure im not loseing out on maximizing my profits.

Ok so first off on the boards you are getting 10c a pound for if you have the time you want to maximize your profit by pulling off all the little transformers, copper rolls, heat sinks, and turning the board in like that. Don't worry about breaking it because most yards don't care if they are broken if they are buying as low grade. Also for the desktop computers I would break them down to larger components, the things I dont break down inside computers are cd/dvd drives, power supplies. The rest I strip and sort.

Its all about what is worth it for you, also you could find some copy machine breakdowns somewhere on here, but for me I usually pull the wire and throw in shred. Good luck

That's about what I do except I'll take that extra min. or two and try to pull the motors I can see, wires, boards, without breaking it all the way down. You could spend hours breaking one down for not much extra.

I should specify the large box contained just the boards as he dose the shred from the machines himself. I started sorting the box tonight. So far its about 50/50 high grade and low grade lots of the high grade have ram sticks on them some multiple. The boards with more than 2 have the small sticks similar to laptops but have up to 4 per board. So threw half the box i have a nice handful of ram boards
