That is scary! I hope none of our stuff ends up there. It defeats the purpose of why I do this.

I agree that it's sad, but I do disagree with the tone of the article.

Most of us aren't that way. I certainly know that I'm not. And, it is certainly reasonable to expect to profit from E-Waste. Sometimes you do better than others, but unlike the article, I fail to see that it's "impossible" for an American-based E-Waste company to make money.

I read the whole article and found it very interesting. It reminded me of the coal miners and others that in the past had very hazardous working conditions for the little pay they received. You end up with workers and their families not living as long and healthy as would be ideal.

MONEY does make the world go round. That is why I learned years back that if I didn't chase the carrots, that the carrots would get around to coming to me, many times for free.

But as this season of mankind goes about their endeavors and quests it can sometimes sure make a ME$$.

p.s. Not to yank your chain or such. But when I wrote Hobo I had a thought of what would happen if in typo someone typed Hoho. It made me giggle thinking of it as I thought of those Hostess chocolate cakes. Just sharing the giggles I get at times when something strikes me funny.

I sort of figured that from your flashy avatar that you like tasty cakes. Did you ever see the mascot that Hostess Ho Ho's had? It's a Ho Ho cartoon character done up like Robin hood, That is what my minds eye saw for a moment. I remember many images and advertising jingles from my younger daze. The Lays Fritos Frito Bandito. And Capt. Crunch the sea captain. Then there was Yah Hoo Mountain Dew with the mountain man cartoon man.

I enjoy Living in the past and the present at the same time as the future seems a bit on the busy side for my personal comforts.

I sort of view the future as the rising of the new day sun. It comes and it goes and comes again.

Must be why the concept of time travel interests me a little. I am a bit of a time traveler as I Live in the past, present and future all at the same time.

Did you know that Albert Einstein said that Time was a only a illusion, but a very convincing one?

When we feel we are short on time, just WHAT is it that we are missing if time is but a convincing illusion?

Well, duh. Recycling stretches a bit beyond pretty colored bins in the garage. I'm quite sure that I fall in someone's "scavenger" category.
