Picking up a smart tv as part of a larger pickup later today. The screen is bad. I know govern buys these if the screen is good and it is over 36". Just wondering if anyone knows of a buyer of these boards at more than scrap value.

check ebay...they can sell pretty well depending on the model. The BIGGEST thing that has kinda hurt that market is the plummeting prices of large LED tv's...it almost is not worth fixing most of them.
some are still sellable however.
PROFIT is made when you BUY/ACQUIRE NOT when you sell
Check the part numbers on the boards and search ebay. Many of them have decent resale value. The stands sell pretty well too.
The TV is a 55" LED LG 55LN5600. Did a little research on E-bay and the main board is listed and selling for between 50 and 150 dollars. power supply board and other boards are also selling. Too bad I don't do E-bay and don't want to try.
I suggest you take photos of it "working" with the broken screen. This will help sell your claim that it is a good part removed from a tv with a broken screen. Under stand you shipping options and packaging needs to sell electronics(ESD packaging). Good luck, Mike.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
How do you spell consignment, might be the right time to try that with (you-know-who).Did a little research on E-bay and the main board is listed and selling for between 50 and 150 dollars. power supply board and other boards are also selling. Too bad I don't do E-bay and don't want to try.
Esp. if you could show they worked like Miked said.
