Nurit 2085 Credit card machine. (2005) and Pics included.

Today I took apart a Credit Card Machine, I was curious and it didn't work due to not having the password to it or what not. Basically what happened was that I thought I could be smart and try to punch in a few numbers to see if it will work. Well... The thing is that these things lock you out after many times...so I decided to take it apart.. couldn't resist with my curiosity...
    Here are some pictures
    Before I took it apart.

Got it open after the 3 screws were taken out.

This goes to the part where you swipe your credit card thought it was kind of interesting to see that. (I never seen one before)

Everything in the Credit Card Machine.

    Curiosity is the best teacher.

I always break down something I've never done before.

    Thanks for the pics.

Surprised they have a master password as they require a merchant account(I've a bit experience with them). Good breakdown none the less.

With the original box and any paper work it would of sold to a collector for more then scrap I would think as people collect most everything. And the interesting items always have a fair market when they were expensive new.

But it is fun taking obsolete or salvage things apart that don't have to be put back together.

One of my favorites is the old mechanical electric cash registers from the 70.s. Lots of little motors and many cool looking gears as well as the numbers that would pop up. I enjoy taking cash registers and large copy machines apart as they have so many interesting parts in them.

I do thank you for the detailed pictures of your break down as I find it interesting seeing the picture picture of what is inside the machine.

It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor,
    Would you be mine?
    Could you be mine?
It's a neighborly day in this beautywood,
A neighborly day for a beauty,
    Would you be mine?
    Could you be mine?
I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.
So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
    Would you be mine?
    Could you be mine?
    Won't you be my neighbor?
    Won't you please,
    Won't you please,
Please won't you be my neighbor?

Hi SMF neighbor, I'm glad we're together again....
