    Vintage Metal Detector

I got this metal detector in yesterday from a site clean up and got bored so I took it apart to see how it worked. Below are the images of each step and images of it before it was in pieces. This was found inside a mobile home in Talmadge Maine being cleaned up for a state contract. This has a aluminum case and had two boards, 2 transformers, and wires, some light iron, etc..

    All together

Remove all 4 screws to removed the cover

    Inside the metal detector

    Everything inside the metal detector

There is also a battery in the detector that didnt show up to well. The battery was removed later on after the images were taken.

I'm guessing by the label that you scrapped out a collector item.

I wish I could have saved it for resale but the state contract was that all electronics had to be recycled no resale on them from this property. Would have liked to have kept it sitting in my collection but in this case it wasnt allowed.
