What would you guys do? Need advice.

I have been holding onto my escrape for about 2 years. Most of the scrap I have I got from buying from auctions or seeing a good deal on ebay. And I make pickups at a local computer store for their scrap. I like the old test equipment because of the amount of gold and the uniqueness of the items. I have gone threw my items and weighed it and was wondering what would you do with this stuff if it were yours.
Would you sell the items to a boardsort company or would you take it to a refiner. I have never mailed off anything for sale so a little weary of it and have no knowledge of refiners to sell to. That is where I need the expertise. THANKS AGAIN FOR TAKING THE TIME TO LOOK AND COMMENT.

Sell,sell,sell and sell lol Cash For Computer Scrap are great to work with have sold many gaylords to them.. Prices could always drop!

I would not sell the pins or even the gold fingers to an escrap buyer..you will not get very much compared to value.

sell a gaylord 2 of motherboards just to see how process works..prices are up a little bit but that might be the ceiling for now...i usually mix a low value item like gold connectors in with the good stuff because they dont pay for themselves shipping wise

Sell boards keep chips and pins.

What would I do with it if it were mine......

I'd lay it all out on the ground and swim around in it scrooge mcduck style for a little while. Pack it up and sell it. Take the check to the bank and ask for all singles. And then swim around in those. Lol.

All seriousness, you have a hell of a stockpile. I'm just getting started with ewaste myself so I've only dealt with small shipments. But they've all been with the favorite resident buyer here. Their prices beat anywhere else I've talked to even after paying for shipping. And their customer service is beyond stellar. I'm sure anyone else here will tell you the same.

Sort it, Ship it , Sell it, Bada bing bada boom, Check the buyers and sellers section. If you poke around there alittle you'll
see who to deal with, go to their website and it's all there easy peasy, cha ching. Need I say more ?

Look up the chips on Ebay BEFORE destroying them - there is an active collector's market for some of them. [LINK]

For the boards, I assume you did not separate vintage from newer ones? Again there is a collectors market for very old ROM/RAM cards, graphics cards and other items. [LINK]

Thanks guys for the replies. Yeah Im in a tough spot I gonna look threw the people to ship to and see what I can find. I will keep on stock piling till I can find someone.

Why keep the pins and chips. Whats good about holding on to them. Just wondering.
