    Tivoli series2

    I found a tivo Series 2 DVR box today at the thrift store for $8 it did not have a power cord so I did not buy it the thrift store is close to me do you guys think that it is worth the $8 whether it is for scrap purposes or I find a power cord for it?

    I'm going to be as tactful as I can.. but here is the scoop.

    A lot of what you learn at scrapping is taking an educated risk and TRYING something. If you fail- you learned a valuable lesson and won't ever make the mistake again. If you try it and it nets you profit- you also learned a valuable lesson. Folks on the board are here to assist you.. but they won't spoon feed you answers for every potential deal or item you are hoping to scrap or resell or whatever it is you are wanting to accomplish.
    I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
