    Didn't find the box but

Today I needed a large 3-5 ply cardboard box to ship a IBM Selectric ( 40 lb) typewriter. The first dumpster I looked in there was two brand new 14" Husqvarna concrete cutting blades. The next one I looked in I found one and a half IBM POS systems. The next couple nothing. The last one I checked there was an AT&T cell phone recycling kiosk. You guessed it. It was full of smartphones. I gave up and headed home. I really hope to find that box tomorrow!

Great score I find it interesting they would just toss phones in dumpster after they accepted them under the premise they would recycle/destroy....lots of info on those phones

it seems that if he strikes it rich in a big enough way, he will forget about the box.

I'm happy (?) to say that I didn't have to/ get to go looking in dumpsters any more. I normally get my boxes by exchanging ones I don't need for the correct size at a local recycling trailer. My first try that led to the dumpster discoveries, I found that the trailer had just been emptied. The day after the dumpster hunt I found a proper size box at the recycling trailer.
