Are DRAM-less SSD's useful for anything?

I know many people say SSD's without DRAM are basically useless. They have lower lifespan, and are slower than ones with DRAM.
They may not be all that useful for a boot drive, or a drive with critical data on it. But do they have their place in other areas? How about temporary media files - like downloading shows, watching them, and deleting them.

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

They still hold more than scrap value with most processors.

As for your question of usability: A lesser SSD is still nicer than a traditional HDD in most cases. Lifespan can be calculated. Sure, they can be used for scratch disks and other things like that, but they're still usable for sure
