More than Scrap Value for E-NotWaste

One of the things I love about scrapping is that there is no sales needed. You just take the stuff somewhere and you get "weighed and paid". But it is hard to resist getting 10-20X the scrap value for something still working. My question is where are y'all getting rid of useable items that are quantities too big for ebay or items too niche for CL. For example I have a bunch of SATA Harddrives 500GB, I would like to sell them all at once. Also I have a couple of thousand Transformers (small) still in original dated packaging. I hate to just scrap them, but the selling is so time consuming.
are there outlets that will pay below market, but above scrap and are easy to deal with?

    thanks!

I started a page on Facebook where I list stuff like that I get with pictures. Avoids the games of CL and takes a little while to build up a following, but when you make a sale (or in my case - a trade) you can be pretty sure it's going through. If you want - search Face Book for "Mick's Metal & Battery Recycling".

People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Thanks for the response everyone, but in my post I was really looking for strategies on selling working Escrap, not necessarily to sell something. If anyone has ideas on this please post and if you are a buyer, then let me know that works as well.
thanks again for the great forum.

Well if a stradegy is what your looking for then just ebay or CL them. I cant think of a cheaper way to get your stuff out to millions of people then ebay. Just know if you sell more then 20 grand and 200 items your going to get a 1099 for it. Best way to make the most money is sell them 1 by 1 but im sure there are people on ebay that would buy large lots too. Could also check with your local computer shops. They might also buy your bulk for better then scrap prices.

    quick example this one worked
