Just picked up my first real load of PC's ( PIC Heavy )

All in all i got about 15 PC's
about 25 pounds of pci/agp cards ( Still need to weigh it )
    30 power supplies
    40+ hard drives
25 laptops but none of them are salvageable for anything other than scrap. all of them are from the Pentium 1 days and most are missing stuff.
    Tons and tons of wire
    4 monitors
    70 CD/Floppy drives
And some other random things like Xbox's, PS2's non working or salvagable just scrap

I have some questions though Here are some Pics. I spent 120 on the lot.

Here is a PCI card with a gold bracket is that worth more?

I found this processor. I don't know what it is but it's got plenty of gold. Its from a laptop. Any one have an idea of who makes it and value per pound?

Any one have a guestimate on what this processor lot is worth?

    Here's my helper

All the pics are available here

I don't think that bracket is actual gold plated, it's just a gold colored anodizing to keep it from rusting.
    Other than that, good find,,,
I think we're going to sell our laptop's whole, rather than take em apart, cause there's not a whole lot in there.
I do like your helper, he looks like a laid back dude,,,

Your right on the laptops....They sell for about $5 if they are that old, sometimes less depending on the exact size. Nice find...Those two Penitum Pros rounded out the deal nicely along with the two Cyrix gold caps you have there.

Speaking of the brackets, does anyone remove them from the cards or do you sell them as is?

Just leave the bracket on and sell them as is. We buy them with or without the bracket. Our processor doesn't care if the brackets are on the pci cards.

Same with our buyer, and they buy by the pound. If you remove the bracket your taking away poundage.
