Average weight not sure, they vert so much. But if Im not mistaken $5 (or less) seemed to be a pretty agreed upon amount a person could pay per complete tower.

In my opinion if you are paying for them it is very important they are complete, because there is very little money in the actual towe its self..all the good stuff is the insides.
    Good Luck!

I'd pay a flat rate for each complete one and take off a certain amount for each incomplete one depending on what's missing.

5 bucks is what i usually pay for towers and have been able to turn a nice profit but scrap yards dont work like that they want xx per pound....that is why i need avg. weight and divide it into 5 bucks

We have 2 different price sheets, one more detailed for computer stores and a smaller half sheet for trash companies and other places not quite so knowledgeable. Here is our small pricesheet of what we buy,,

I read this question and ask myself, WTF.
Before you take on a tower find a keyboard that has a shift key that works!

An avg. is imposable to assume let alone suggest!

You mention you pay $5.00 on average, did you not take the time to weigh and do the math on all those units? I guess you were to busy for that!
Don't ask others for numbers that you had not taken the time to collect for yourself.
