The really good news is we have some outstanding buyers here on the forum. Included in that list is PartTimeScrapper whom I am happy to have sold to. As I stated before we have an effective system of reporting on the buyers. I have dealt with ewasted on many occasions and have had nothing but good to say about his service that doesn't mean the others buyers don't bring great service and prices as well, Mike.

You should be able to get your merchandise back and thats exactly what I would do. One situation I read about on how their scam worked said they give you a low ball offer and if you take it they win. If you call to complain about it and they double the offer they still win. You sent them well over $300 worth of stuff that another buyer on the forum here would pay it. If they can get that same stuff for $140 they win big time. I've said it before researching that company is what lead me to this site and I have never been happier.

I do this small time just to pay off credit cards faster and to have some mad money and I've pulled in well over $1000 and probably have that same amount sitting in my shed to be processed.

Yes stick with known entities. I have a local price thats been consistent on ewaste so I keep using them, but never a big load. The main names on here are great from many posts....I sent my 1st load to ewasted on Wednesday, should arrive tomorrow and I have no concerns with him.

Im taking a load of motherboards tomorrow to my local place - their quotes are good over the phone, but I want to see what they do when I show up with motherboards. I want to see if its a better deal to do business with them or taking the hit for shipping on motherboards (that don't pack well) PCI cards and such I will be doing also with one of the buyers on here as they ship much easier

Hmm so in the Oregon area here's how the 2 place I checked with are dividing boards.

    Place A: 2.50/lb for all

    Place B:
    Coloreddoesn't matter age) $1.50/lb
    Below P4: 3.75/lb
    P4+: 2.75/lb.

Doesnt matter on age of board beyond the P4\P3 division, but if its colored that doesn't matter

    Research

We're in the Sioux Falls South Dakota area.. and I've been scammed in the past lesson learned.. One thing i can say.. is this, Get everything down in writing, weight, material and date and person you worked with.. and make sure if You're able to .. It may look like a fool.. but hey.. cover Your back.. get your vehicle weight empty.. just you and no trash in the vehicle.. load it, weigh it,, again.. then drop your stuff off.. if things are off.. You can show them your weigh ticket.

also.. check with The BBB, and also talk to other people on here.. before You deal another load to someone..

There are a few good ones on here.. and around the country.. so do the research and then all should go well.

Yup, I was going to send that compainy some e-waste before I found this forum, I was able to find what other people were saying about them and everybody had complaints. Luckly I found this forum and some great buyers as well.
