Just for the record evergreen in lodi went under and is no longer in business. They were ok but only paid 6 cents a lb for tvs and not a lot for computer scrap. I actually clean out properties for a living and accumulate a ton of tvs and computers.
Our only options that i know of in the area are tri valley - which i will never deal with again- due to a lot of dif reasons mainly because they screw you and make you jump through so many hoops in order to sell to them its not worth my time or frustration. I keep logs on all tvs collected. I currently have a 5-10 trailer full of tvs and approx 400 lbs of motherboards, hard drives, memory, power supplies etc. Anyone have any more buyer hook ups in northern ca that are paying decent? Ill go to the bay area if neccesary , just dont have any connections.
    Thanks
    in advance

I'm in Sacramento ca and wondering if scrap yards buy those green boards from Tvs ,computers, stereos etc or if it's a waste of time for me to get them? I guess I could sell them in Reno Nevada if they buy them there. If you live in California does it make sense to go after green boards ? Where do I sell these things?

Hi there! Depends what kind of boards they are. Worse case scenario they go for tin price at a local yard so still worth getting, if just barely lol! But accumulate a good supply and even if you can't find a good buyer locally you'll be able to use the low-grade boards to basically cover the shipping costs of sending a pallet or few via freight to one of the e-waste buyers in the Midwest and get all profit off the mid- and various high-grade boards. Checks the buyers section of the forum and you'll find some highly recommend e-waste buyers who will treat you right.
