Got some PC towers. Want to rule out stolen property

Got some PC towers from various sources.
How do I make sure these towers are not stolen?
I want to sell them as functional units. But I want to make sure the origin of the stuff is legit. Is there a way to determine this easily?

Check with the local police dept. and see if they have any reports of stolen computers, but if one matches the description you have to give it back. Don't advertise the serial #'s, that way if someone says it's theirs they better have the correct #. If they just say it's a Dell model such-and-such, there's only been a few 100,000 made of them.

Another free site I use is Leads Online. Anything I take in of value, I upload to the site. Always get the info of the person that you are buying/getting the merchandise from.

Scrapette, all you do with a direct link is when your posting, just hit the lil world icon (with the glasses) and paste your link there.
