Srap Master is wright, if you look at any board from the 50's and 60's that have gold pins, the pins are 2-3 time laarger than boards made within last few years. The same thing with low grade boards that were made in the 50's and 60's has about 5 or 6 time the amount of solder on them plus it was silver solder.
