    I would buy brass with copper attached to it as brass breakage. The way we buy something is the way we have to sell it to the mill. Even though copper is worth more than the brass, we would either have to sell it to the mill for a lower price than clean brass or pay one of the guys on the yard to clean it. It could be brass with gold nuggets attached to it and it would still be contaminated according to mill standards.
