Ya'll think it's worth 175 just want some opinions on this deal i have

Huge lot of computer parts. Must take all and you will need a SUV or a Pick-Up Truck to get it all.

    23 Motherboard (AMD and Intel)
    13 Desktop Cases
Huge box of Cables, Mice, Keyboards, Card Readers, and Case Fans (Various sizes)
2+ Boxes of DVD Burners, DVD ROMS, CD Burners
1/2 Box full of 3.5" Floppy Drives and iomega Zip Drives
Huge box full of Video/Graphics Cards, Network Cards, Modems, and Sound Cards
Huge box of Networking Equipment (Routers, Switches, Etc.)
Box full of RAM (SDRAM, RDRAM, DDR, DDR2 & Some Laptop RAM)
About 20 pounds of various USB cables
    Tons of adapters and such
18 or so CPU heatsinks, some with fans (Intel and AMD)
    17 Various Power Supplies
    A couple sets of speakers
Small tubs or boxes filled with rear panel I/O bezels, I/O blanks, Front Panel Blanks
HP Printer that still prints and has ink in it.
3 LCD monitors that need work, and 1 CRT that works fine.
A Toshiba laptop that been taken apart and put in a box (Needs a new case)
Shelf organizer with pull out trays full of processors (AMD, and Intel) and various other parts
    Box of misc. laptop parts
Plus whatever else I can find to clear my spare bedroom out. I couldn't get pictures of all of it because I was limited to 4 but there is more than just what is in the pictures below

You may want to bring some of your own boxes as well as I am running out of them fairly quickly. I am still adding stuff to the pile as I find it.
I will be hauling everything to the recycling yard tomorrow if it's not gone so just shoot me an email with an offer. I do not want to sell a part here and there, I want it all sold at once. Also, some of this stuff because there is so much has not been tested (Most have, but there are some that I just got that I haven't been able to test due to time)

Well if your talking straight scrap value I would say maybe. Now if your willing to take the time to resell the good stuff on ebay I bet I could make alot for that stuff easy. DVDRW will sell for $18 bucks shipped all day long on ebay. So if he has 2 huge boxes like you say and there are say 20 dvdrw in them that work then that would pay for the lot easy. It really all depends on how much is there. Its hard to say with just an inventory list of stuff and no pics or weights. You could doube your money just on the CPU's depending on the weight of them as well. I think I would definitly go check it out. If its not worth it when you get there then offer them less.

Good advise. Pay very close attention to the number and type of cpu's. I hope you know how much each are worth. Take photos and let us know how it works out. Mike.

Ya know, that looks and sounds awfully a lot like an add that was on my Craig's list down here about 2 weeks ago. Seriously. You may need an SUV or pick-up truck, as well as "you may want to bring some of your own boxes" were both wordings used. I had a few different people that I connect with here computerwise, contact the one here and none of us ever received a response or know of who got this magical motherload that was described in much less detail than yours is. The one here stated, I can't sell these computers even at the cheapest prices in Florida so I am giving it all away. Then it went on to mention the size of vehicle needed and boxes need to be brought, etc.

All of the people that I know that saw it figured it was someone fishing for info on buyers in the area or somethin along those lines.

Have you been in contact with this person? Is this the price he is asking for? Even with the crazy variables, that price would at the very least break even with the travel time I would think. Top side would net you a couple hundred extra depending on his defintion of "a box full of RAM", "a box full of cards", etc.

Depending on the size of the box (shoebox or walmart).

box is kind of a relitive term, you need weights. I actually have several e scrappers here who buy strip all the goodies then re advertise the worthless junk back on c list as computer scrap.
