    MY First Ewaste "Mother Load"

Well all of my hours browsing the craigslist computer section and sending cold call emails and texts has finally paid off. I sent a text to a guy that had a add on craigslist for repairing laptops. After several texts back ne forth we finally met up today. I ended up with 32 motherboards, 30 laptops, a handfull of cpus, some finger cards, and a few harddrives. All in all i think this turned out pretty well for me. Now its time for me to learn how to break down a laptop. gonna try to put a couple of pics on here. oh and i want to thank everyone on this forum that has helped me and answered my questions.

Not too many of us break down the laptops, we usually just sell them intact to one of the buyers. Somewhere around $.70 to $1.00 a lb.

Congrats on the ewaste. You are welcome for all the advise. lol, As I said in another thread I learned everything about ewaste here on this forum. On the lap top trear down, its fairly easy to figure out and do. I break mine down as well since shipping them whole would be a waste, Mike.

Thanks guys. I never would have done this if it wasnt for the knowledge shared on this site. No mikeinreco it wasnt free. M688 I talked to a local guy and he quoted me a price a little lower not sure what im gonna do yet. Several of the laptops are just shells with mother boards so i will prob finish breaking them down. When you sell them whole do you leave the batteries in them? Oh one more Questions. What do i do with the cpu's that are inbedded in the board rather then being in a socket?
