How many forum members from WA, OR and ID are there on here? Are any of you interested in a local buyer? I'm just trying to guage interest. Unfortunately, it seems like all of the buyers on here are from the midwest or east coast, which makes the shipping costs eat into the pricing. Some stuff just isn't worth shipping from the NW to the east coast.
I'm in SW Idaho, there's 4 or 5 others on here in the same area. Are you talking about e-scrap?

from big-name local buyers. And shipping from here cuts too far into profits. I'm not sure how much lower it would be shipping from ID to WA than ID to the east coast. I'm conveniently located along I-5 between Portland, OR and Seattle, WA and for the right quantities, could offer pickups to both.
Lol. I offered to buy scrap from the business that gave me the above prices. His response was "Well if we were to sell to you, then we will need to know the downstream information. Which will have to reveal the information of the company that actual recycle all the items that you will take from us."

Well at some of those prices it would be better to sell as shred at $0.12.
I live nearly as far se as you do nw. I suggest you consider breaking down the non-working drives. Ship the boards to one of the buyers. The non-working/non re-saleable HD's should also be broken down. Mostly the HD's are AL with some SS and of coarse high grade boards.
The PCI or finger boards should be sold as is or cut off the fingers and find a buyer who will take that way.
Low grade boards strip of the ic's and copper and AL and put in with the shred.
The power supplies for me without the wires don't sell so I toss them in the shred as well.
Of course the memory sticks are worth $15.50 to my buyer and PartTimeScrapper is in the market of them and some of the drives.
My buyer arranges shipping for me and the cost is reasonable, Ewasted is my current buyer but there are several others on the forum.

If there was a reliable buyer with competitive pricing near Seattle it would probably save me a fair amount of shipping.

I know of a company out of Portland Oregon. They are a pretty large company but you could give them a try. They had called me trying to secure some material and their prices were really good. I know they buy a ton of ewaste and were part of the escrap conference. But who knows how they are on price now. I again have never worked with this company, but I thought I would try to help.

Would love to find a local buyer paying good prices on boards/cards. No Luck So Far! $3.25 is the highest quote on motherboards.

Im in WA state. North of Seattle. Iv'e been scrapping for a while but just started into the escrap (thanks to this forum). So, when my stockpile gets big enough I might get ahold of ya
