here are a couple more pics - here's that thing from before with the heat sink off... from the other thread
the 2 on the left are from a laptop & the other is from an apple airport thing
I found this in a cell phone not sure what it is
here's the other side
other things i thought were kinda cool - i may make the wheel thing into a necklace!
these are pics of an ethernet media converter brand new in the box - should i tear it down? if it's outdated technology i might as well but what do you think?
here is the box of the things i took off of the side of the finger boards before i knew i was not supposed to
lol
ahhh! Ok, cool! I guess now you know what a ZIF (zero insertion force) connector is too, and how easy it will be to replace your laptop keyboard should you ever have the need to
maybe those new photos will load if i leave it there long enough (darned dialup!), need to do some lawn mowing anyway :P

I was thinking about taking the gold fingers off too... any thoughts there? the way that i have it figured if i do that it would maximize the profit potential. the reason that buyers price it the way that they do is because it is less labor intensive if i take them off right?
You'll need to decide that between you and a buyer, or someone who's sold more of it, Julie, and whether the price would be worth the time
I'm believing that top photo is some type of VRM, especially since he said those showed as power chips, and only guessing it would be about equal to any other finger card, but again, i don't have that much experience in the buying and selling of it.
What did your new necklace piece come from?
Just have to research that ethernet thing on Ebay, and see if they're selling there, it's likely outdated though( I checked, it's outdated, probably has a board of some sort in it though).
That photo with the Apple airport wifi thing, i can only see the top two, and read the Sony part of the other one. That one on the top left is a laptop memory stick, i suppose just goes with your other RAM memory. Google "apple airport extreme", looks kinda pricy, depending on the model

The cellphone thingie might be the internal antenna, and the wheel thingie is copper wire. Then the box of steel brackets off of the finger cards, just add those to your (growing) steel pile. Not all buyers want the fingers cut off, check with a buyer that YOU want to sell to and see how they want them.
