E cyclers - How things are weighed

Hoping a few erecyclers can chime in.

So i was thinking last night and normally the scale goes in 1 pound increments.




Well if i brought in 10.8 pounds of memory i lose out on 0.8 pounds. This can add up fast on a load that has several things to turn in. mo boards, high grade, hard drive boards, memory, ect.

is their a better way to weigh these things? Should we weigh at home and only bring 10 pounds. Should we dump it all on the scale and start removing things till it drops 1 pound then slowly add back and keep the leftovers?

My buyer pays to the exact ounce and sends me a spreadsheet breakdown....He is a buyer on this forum and has been more than fair with me

My buyer will buy cpu's in as small as 1/4 lbs. lots so I know he has an accurate scale. Personally for small items like cpu's and memory I use a postal scale I bought off of ebay.

If you are using a buyer that uses the scale you discribed for cpu's and memory I would move on to another buyer. Mike.

I agree. If your buyer is using a bathroom scale.....it's time to look at other options.

I bought the same scale Computerscrapper uses off Amazon for like $23 with free shipping. Mine only goes to 75#'s but that's plenty high enough. It does pounds and ounces at the same time!

My buyers digital shows pounds and ounces and that is how he pays, and his readout reads right with mine, that way I'm not losing anything.
