Does anyone know of a reputable E-scrap buyer in the the Charlotte, NC area? I am compiling my first load and am exploring the best way to maximize my dollar- factoring in shipping cost, payout, gas etc.

No, I live in Jacksonville, NC, thats on the coast of NC. I have been unable to find a ewaste buyer in NC to deal with. I understand there is one in the Hickory area. Personally I ship to one of the member-buyers here on the forum. I am happy with the service and prices. I am certain if any of the buyers here did something bad we would hear about it.
If you go to the buyers/sellers section many of the buyers post their prices. If you want to have questions on the grade of your material take a photo and pm a buyer. Mike.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
I have noticed several different buyers on here. do you recommend one? Low grade boards dont seem to be worth shipping. what do you do with them?
You could wait till you have a trailer full and take them in yourself... The lowgrade boards are what pays for my gas for the trip.. Making a 10 hour trip in 2 weeks...
No local buyers of low grade boards here so in the shred it goes for me. I would never ship low grade boards, no matter who is buying it would be a losing deal with shipping costs.
I use ewasted as my buyer, I am happy so far with service and prices. He is in the Cleveland Ohio area so shipping is required. He can arrange for shipping if you request it. Since he ships a lot he gets better pricing but I'm sure other buyers can do the same. No matter how you do it you will be paying for shipping.
Have you ever sold ewaste before? Mike.
this is my first go round. done ferrous and non ferrous but learning the e waste world. interesting and sometimes confusing to say the least.
Yes confusing is a great way to describe it. I just got done straightening out my cpu delema. Many of the cpu's look the same but don't pay the same. I picked up a big bunch, for me. Here's the picture.
One of the best things of working with a buyer who is willing to take the time to teach you. I know I will make more money in the future because of his efforts. I bought these cpu's and had to guess on how much to pay on some of them. Fortunatly I bought low enough that I will make out but not as much as I thought when I buying them.
If you haven't read this thread I suggest you do.
