So basically, every removable IC chip you find, pull it? Not the chips you have to de-solder, but the removable ones.
By the way thanks for the pictures yall. Very informative thread.
I talked to my buyer and he said to pull off all of the removable chips. It doesnt devalue the board.
Took all of my aluminum cases to my scrap yard. Recouped 150 of my 190 dollar investment. This is gonna turn out pretty good.
Who are you? Please go to the intro section and tell us about yourself. Ya the two left are 486's Unfortunately its the only two ive got. Not sure if i should just stash them are if i should put all of my ceramics on ebay.
If you like to do the Ebay thing then perhaps that would be a good idea. Of course this is not the last big load you will get so you will get more cpu's in the future. I suggest you put them in your pocket for a while unless you need the money next deal. Its a good problem to have. Mike.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
Thanks miked. I have all of them in a coffee can and i guess ill just leave them in there for now. Whats your thoughts on those gold window eproms?
I continue to read they are worth much more than regular ic's but no one has supplied a buyer. I have a small handfull myself that I will continue to hold onto. I feel certain they will not go down in value sitting here waiting on the right buyer, Mike.
on what boards do you find gold plated eproms? wish I could find some
