I am looking at all options right now, but by going to the smaller box with multiple boxes it was definately a save point on shipping and I can breathe a little easier now

I am thinking I am going to go with cashforcomputerscrap, I am waiting on a reply from him about if 3 packages are coming is it ok just to put a copy of the same reciept in each one or do you need 3 seperate ones since its all about total weight. I also found CJEnviromental up in the north east (located in Mass), they pay for shipping but it seems there price points are slightly lower, I am wondering how much this would change the bottom line and also when I did call them they were very friendly. hmm decisions......

I am going with ewasted and cashforcomputerscrap. He sent me the shipping labels, The price is good and lower then I can get through fedex. Everything is all packaged up and will be dropped off at a Fed Ex location tommorrow. There are a lot of options out there

CJEnviormental is mentioned in a post from earlier in the year. I would stay away from them.

I was trying to finish, but there are so many options out there and they need to be found, sometimes when searching on the internet you go to dead end. I was pretty sure that I was going to go with someone on here, I sent a half a dozen emails yesterday with only 2 replies and one was the place in Mass, but to drive there or out of state would have meant another day off from work to drive out of state. And at this point I am trying to save those for the big load like getting all these computers or when my neighbor gets to clean out a foreclosed home and I need to collect the metal. I am hoping this will not be my last big load of computer stuff, it was fun so far and just off the 60 or so I got the other day I am already up about 300 with the wire, disc drives and metal cases, ohh and those lovely copper/aluminum heatsinks. Also Dells are awesome, Just push a button and the pull everything everything out, only one screw holding the motherboard down. Doing 24 of those took about 2 hours, where are the other 40 took 2 days. Oh well

CLR- in no way is this meant to be bad. When I was searching on Sunday I think I found your website but I probably backed out of it quickly becasue I think it was difficult to find or see that you purchase ewaste. To Me You really looked like a big company that caters to massive corporations vice the scrapper who managed to gather up a few hundred pounds of stuff. So I guess that is a compliment for the website

I think I screwed up one thing though- I didnt sort the CPU processor chips, I just put them in one big freezer bag and shoved it in the box

You would be surprised how many ewaste buyers are around you. I was in your situation and posted a Craigslist ad soliciting buyers - I stated that I had several hundred lbs of ewaste I was looking to sell. I was contacted by a company 20min away (in southerasten MA) that had good prices for motherboards. So they get my bulkier items, and I ship the smaller components like fingerboards, cpu's, cell phones etc. to companies that pay better for those items.

Try to contact some of the e-waste recycling companies that don't advertise that they pay for ewaste, many of them do pay but don't state that on their website. It may be worth a phone call.
