will see what happens but I should have known the rules before hand, That would have been easy to do I think, Just sort of match up the ones that look alike and wouldnt have added any real time putting them in seperate baggies, but I think I went on the assumption that with the mail in places they sort everything for you. I think that is why I didnt go with one of the other places that pays first, too much time with taking pictures, laying everything out etc. There are so many hours in a day and some of them have to be spent eating, working, family, and keeping the yard picked up, which was getting this stuff mailed out.

Well too late to help you but I got my payout from ewasted today and here's the shipping info. I shipped two boxes one 57lbs and the other 68lbs. The shipping cost was divided equally $33.02 each, $66.04 for both and about $0.53/lb. So for others following this thread I hope this is helpful. My zip code is 28540., Mike.

My shipment arrived at cashforcomputerscrap this morning (3 days after I sent it I think) and It was processed this afternoon. I ended up with 14 different categories. So far I am extremely happy with the results. I do wish that all the different pics could get consolidated somewhere explaining what each category is and then I would be able to sort better but that can discussed elsewhere (idiots guide to E-waste) it could be a sticky. Opps ,look at that while I am typing an email came through that payment has been made. that is fast. As I said I am happy and amazed that a mail in, online, never met anyone, type of transaction could go so well. Now to find another 200lbs of stuff

I got the paypal debit card so I don't have to wait for access to the money. Before when I had to wait to transfer the money to my bank account the deylay annoyed me. Now it seems to be instantaniously available. I am happyiers using the debit card.

So how much per pound did your shipping costs come out to? Mike.

About 54 cents per pound, I really didnt look at it that way. I looked at what I was mailing and what I think it should cost to make it feel (its all about feel) good for me that I was going to make a profit. And shipping at 118$ was more that exceptable to me. Now do I count the earnings for this month? or next when I actually recieve the money and have the cash in hand?

Count them both times then you will have twice as much. Mike.

I did it for March since it was processed then. Awesome month, best ever I earned just as much scrapping as in my full time job. Now try to not spend so much in gas, bring my lunch, and not buy another pack of smokes and I would be golden.

I don't know if this still applies. Years ago I shipped items from florida to baltimore. If i the seller went to the airport and the buyer went to the airport on their end. Anything I shipped was by weight at 10- 15 cents per lb. It was through Air Cargo. Like I said, it was years ago, but a quick call to an airport would tell you, if you can do still do it.
