    Deguassing cable from monitor/tv

So I have been reading alot of to strip a deguasing cable or not to strip. Here is my experience. 24lbs of wire not stripped equaled 18lbs stripped so there was 6lbs of insulation. At the prices at my yard the difference would be 14.40$ unstripped at .60 cents a pound or 54$ dollars for #1 copper at 3.00$ a pound. So I am going to stip the cable. Also I averaged $4.21 per monitor total from about 34 or monitors/tvs. that was not stripping the aluminum off the boards. I got another 34 to do and these ones I am going to take the aluminum and stainless off the boards and see if there is a difference and how much more time I spend. It might not make that big a differnce because my yard took my boards with the metal still attached to them so that added to the weight of the circuit board it probably evened out.

Yea but the boards only bring .12-.15 lb and the alum. your pulling off is old sheet at around .50-.55 lb
