    Cable Modems

Since I am taking a day off tomorrow, so my wife and I can register our oldest daughter for kindergarten, when we come back, I will be breaking down some electronics that I have been storing up.

One of which is a couple of verizon cable modem boxes, and some of program boxes for the tv.

I am sure the boxes would be medium grade possibly, but what grade would the cable modems be?

Like others on here, as I go, I am going to be taking pictures, and cataloging them, so I can tell what is what down the road.

I have been breaking my down for the last couple of days. Can't wait to see your pics. I don't have camera I would. Depending on size of verizon boxes they can be a lil challenging. Direct tv boxes have been about 7 to 10 min. Still have a few more to go. Hope you have as much fun as I have LOL.

Thanks for the info on what time frame to expect. 10 mins seems like a lot for those boxes, but the way technology is anymore, I do believe it!

I will be taking pictures as I go, and if I have my little brother in law with me, I will make a few youtube videos as well.

Some of those cable boxes have security star bits on them. the one with the pin in the middle so your bit needs a hole in it. love those boards though

just hit it with a hammer if its the plastic ones, the board pops out, i get high-med grade for them but get paid more just leaving them intact and giving to my buyer.

If you put your Torx driver in and line it up, then hit it with a hammer, a lot of times for me, it squishes the pin, and then I can unscrew!!

Thanks everyone for the replies. I do not forsee an issue with any of this, but never can tell.

I will be getting to them all tomorrow. My wife's family has been spending the day with her grandmother who is going back home tomorrow (then be back here permanently in about 2 months).

I will definitely be doing pictures and try some videos as well.

Thanks guys/girls for the kind words.

No bad luck, I will have all the photos from the cable modem boxes, the digital cable receivers, etc posted tomorrow.

It has been real hectic around here, so I have been working on things with immediate payouts.

Sorry ladies and gents for the long wait.

Have had so much going on, and barely enough time to breathe.

Anyways, here is the link of the pictures.

I know this was regarding cable modem boxes, but I also did some of a Verizon cable box, and some PC components as well.

They are all labeled, so please let me know if they are right or wrong.

    Thanks!
