i saw on the news that ebay profits are soaring. Do you know where they make their money? Seller fees! As far as i know that's their only revenue, and when they get ready to want more, guess who they'll be sticking? again! ; )

They of course own Pay Pal so thats a huge reason for their first quarter announcement of a 20% increase in revenue... Amazing they control the auction market and the way to pay for it and noonne has ben able to compete with them yet. I have some luck on Amazon with certain items but of course most things arnt able to be put on there

i saw that during a replay grabinow, how paypal was a large part of that. I still got a pet peeve with em tho, it seemed every time they wanted to increase profits, they'd find a way by sticking their greedy fingers into the sellers pockets just a little bit deeper. Like you say, there's just no other market, if you want to sell at the best price you'll wind up at ebay, or maybe listing on your own website, and waiting, and waiting, and possibly, waiting some more
