Might be a good buy if it's an Apple Lisa one sold for 15k on Ebay in 2010 and saw one the other day asking $24,995

Rare Vintage Apple items are popular these days. An Apple Lisa 1 put up for sale on eBay last week has sold for $15,000 after 11 bids! The unit, in working condition, belonged to a former member of the Lisa production team at Apple and was sold by his brother. In an email received by Cult of Mac, the seller noted that the buyer intends to display the system in a museum in Italy. 12/2010

There you go. It is worth it to a collector. For 15k I'll be a collector.

The fact they they work and have all the bells and whistles does make is sound appealing and if you wanna take the chance you might make out really good. Or you might just have a pimp computer museum for the rest of ur life never know.

There is one thing about old apples...people want them if they work. Never gut them and turn them into mail boxes, fish tanks, money banks, drink holds, chairs, table legs and who knows what else they have been used for.

I just sold 4 mac G5s and one G5 pro for over 1600 cash and those are a few years old.

Here is my number one Craigslist rule:

Anyone who puts "$1" as the price in the headline, or a smaller amount than what they are actually asking is a major douche.
