Getting into E scrap and gold recovery, is this lot a good deal?

I have already found a guy who will work with me to recover the precious metals from computer parts. I was browsing on ebay and came across this auction and idk if I should bid or not http://www.ebay.com/itm/300-GRAMS-SC...item2ebd75da64 will I make my money back and then some in the long run? Thanks.

lol alright then, that's all I needed to hear. What is the most I should pay (roughly) per gram/oz. of e scrap to actually make decent money?

Not to be smart a** but another question better asked on the gold forum. There may be some on here that do refine, perhaps one of those will answer. For the most part refining processes are not generally discussed here and are not encouraged.

Wow, there wasn't even a pound of fingers there, but I'll be surprised if someone doesn't jump on that thinking they'll get rich.
Here's what Bejak was telling you, those are the experts on refining, if you want to know stuff about junking/scrapping then your in the right place. http://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/...7522f4b733d70c

I will give you the standard warning I give about the gold recovery...leave it to the experts. The guys over at the Goldrefiningforum aren't going to share a lot of yields with you. I would suggest going out and finding some Free or nearly free items that are just the same as whet you see there. There is a LOT of heavy Plastic weight in those printer cable ends, and a couple of newer processors and a few fingers isn't going to recoup your expense.

Here's a quote from a Refiner buddy...He was running Fiber processors (More gold than the processors in that auction)

I ran a test batch of 50 fiber processors, which is roughly a pound of them (without the heat sink).

I got a bb sized button - I think it was 0.39 grams.

That was from the pins. I haven't incinerated any yet to see what I can get out of the leftovers.
He ran $36 worth of processors (From Ewasted's price guide) and recovered $21 in gold.....Collect free stuff and sell to one of the buyers here...then BUY gold...

I have not refined them my self so I can test to the recovery rate that he had. But that could be based on HOW he recovered the gold. On somethings its best you do it this way or that way. So its something you have to play with and work out all the details over time to get the best return.

I love that they claim it to be "high yield". And 6.00 shipping for something that weighs 10 ounces?

I love it even more when they say.

"after you refine and it and you are not happy...send it back for a full refund."

then at the bottom of the page it says "....to get refund you must send item back as it was when you got it..."

hmmmm how can you refine it and not be happy with it and then send it back as it was to get your money back?? lol I love when they do things like that =-)
