Can you recycle a tv or monitor for cash?

Ive had to turn down a lot of people who want me to take a television or computer monitor because I dont know if I can make anything off of them. Is there any way to recycle one for money?

Do you have someplace for the tubes and plastic? Find an acceptable place for those first and then you can start accepting them. We have plenty of posts about what to do with the tubes and plastic, just do some reading. There's roughly $2.00-3.00 inside them.
