What do you guys think about recycling projector tvs?

I like the big rear projection tv's way more than regular tvs. They have the copper of 3 crt tubes, and usually 3 boards with heat sinks, also a good amt of steal holding everything in there.

I hate projection tv's. I don't think they have crt tubes, they have oil filled lights that make a mess if your not careful. You end up with a pile of wood at the end and they are heavy to move or haul. You can have them!!

I took a sony rear projection apart 2 days ago, had 17lbs of alum, 3lbs of insulated and of course the 3 smaller yokes. and about 20lbs in steel maybe a lil more. with the wood based ones i just throw the wood in my burn pit out back and am waiting on the burn ban to go away out here to burn it off.

I like'em. But, I have a place close that takes all my ABS plastic. The wood ones are a pain, but I just throw the wood on my burn pile. 1 projection is the same as 3 monitors, too me.
