Amazon sells my books, videos, dvd, and cds.
Ebay sells my other merchandise. Ebay is more flexible... Amazon is more for static items that really don't change... your book will be the same as everyone else's book... except for the condition.
With amazon, there is no listing fees. List your stuff and stick it on the shelf. (fire and forget) Listings never expire and you don't get charged until something sells... and since amazon controls the entire transaction you don't even miss the fees (until you do your taxes and see what they took for fees for the year... EEks!). I have had stuff sell years after I listed them...
With ebay you get paid in paypal right away. With amazon they send your earnings, minus their fees, twice a month to your bank account... you can manually request the transfer whenever you want, but it takes several days to get the transfer complete.
Fees suck on both... but that's the cost of doing business.
