buyers for better than scrap computers?

Does anybody have a buyer for better than scrap computers? I just picked up a bunch of MPC Clientpro 414, 424, and 434 all-in-one lcd computers. Some are noted "eol - reason" where eol is end of life. A bunch do not say eol, but " operational", and some have no note. I have no power adapters for them, so I cannot test and verify they are operational. Since they are all-in-one computers and all p4 (414's are p4, the newer ones are dual core) with a half gig of ram and wireless cards, I assume resale would be at least $75 each. Unfortunately, though, I am in the process of moving and need to get rid of them soon, so I cannot hole on to them to order a charger, go through them and reload Windows xp on them. I would prefer to sell them to somebody that can refurbish them than break them down...

try getting with some local computer repair shops and let them know you have spares in case they run out, who knows, maybe you'll get some calls. It wouldn't be easy with completely untested stuff though

How do you sell those Mike? I had no problem in Nashville selling them quite rapidly. I especially liked having a number of identical computers, run one ad and sell the same computer 10 or 15 times ; ) Soon as one would go out the door I'd bring the next one in, many times the phone was already ringing. I know things have changed somewhat, a great many people have gone to handheld devices now

Go through Craig's list and look for the guys that are selling refurb computers on there regularly. Talk to them and make a deal. They will also be a supplier of junk computers or parts for you. I have a few regular suppliers of junk that I have gotten this way.

I may have just hit the motherload!!! I broke down 35 of the ones with power, lcd, or other issues and have not touched the ones that say they work. I just found a trade-in program for these through a third party company where they offer a $500 credit for the MPC ClientPro all-in-ones towards one of their computers. I have maybe 50 of these left. An account manager will he calling me after lunch. We will see how it goes - I may be getting some new computers... Heck, if they take non-working ones, I'm going to put those 35 back together!

Well, I talked with the company about the trade in program. Unfortunately, it is limited to one trade in per new computer. I have calls in to some of my clients that manage computers for other businesses to see if they would like some for trade ins for upgrades.
