    Guess that part???

    What is the card called that goes into the extra p3 slot on a duaL cpu slot server board...pentium 3? Thiink its purpose is so you can run one cpu instead of 2 on a dual slot board. Some kind of elimator or something...anyone know?

    I believe you are referring to a P3 slot terminator as pictured below:



    They basically send a feedback loop to show something is there and register with the BIOS.

    ya i have a few of those. Do those just go into the finger card pile?

    I'd say the slot processor pile. It has a bunch of resistors and such on it, just no processor.

    thats where i have been putting them wasnt real sure though.

    I sold a few of these to ewasted a few months ago...mixed them in with my ram at $15/lb.
    Yeah that's great and all...but...CAN I SCRAP IT!?

    Thanks for the info. They do go with the slot procs as far as I was aware. Thats what ewasted [aid me last time. But they are worth more than scrap on ebay. Just looked. So evilbay here I come lol...
