Just wondering, what are your rates for your local newspapers?

weekly/monthly whatever they go by for you.

When I moved from Nashville about 6 years ago I could list a plain misc. for sale ad for ten days i think it was @ appx $10 which would reach 500,000 people+. When I got to Oklahoma, in a small town paper that reaches 5,000 maybe, the price became about $30. I found area thrifty nickels and dollar savers to have better rates, for some categories, under certain prices were even free, and did well enough, but they cover a large regional area, and many times got calls from too far away to reasonably connect. More recently I'm finding craigslist and freecycle to be most suitable for where i'm at and what i'm doing
I wouldn't even consider the newspaper these days unless it was one of the smaller local ones.

Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.
