Buying ECUs and other electronics from a core buyer

I have the chance to buy ECUs, air bag modules, and other electronics from vehicles.
Has anyone broke these down to see what they are worth? Right now we are looking at them paying $2 and me paying $3 for each. I am hoping To talk them down to them paying $1 and me paying $2.
    What do you guys think?

I don't know maybe this'll help; I took a couple in stripped and my computer buyer gobbled them up. They don't like the Fords for recycling cause they are full of tar. That's what I was told.
