    Our new logo

This is our new logo. We plan on running postcards through the USPS every door mail program and wanted a fresh and professional logo. Go big or go home right? I hope you guys like it.

Is the post cards cheaper than the flyers we were talking about awhile back,,,???

I believe they are the same. For some reason the fliers seemed more expensive to print thand the post cards. The post cards are full size too, not the smaller ones! Again, I am having these done for me. Im sure you can save some $$ but the USPS is kind of picky on whta they will mail. Should be 14.5 cents per piece to deliver. Im tired of having my stuff flagged on CL and decided to make a little investment into the future.

That says a lot to you, and to us, congratulations. But what does it say to your audience?

Well, if you look at the logo you will see the internationally recognized symbol for recycling. Speaks for itself I think. Then you will notice the green leaf towards the end of the logo, that also represents our committment to our enviroment. I would like to have had diamond plating where the four bolt heads are, but it did not flow well. Subtle, but it is there. When the postcard is done, I think my audience will get the idea. I did not want a logo that was too cluttered. Thank you all for the compliments!!

It was prepared by a graphic design company near me. It was not very cheap but definitely worth it. I have seen some very cool things done with Photoshop but that program is very expensive. If you know someone who has it, ask them to put something together for you. Like I said I have seen some awesome things done on it.

That's a very professional looking logo. As they say, you knocked it out of the park!

Best of luck with the mailing and I hope you report the results back to us.

The next thing to consider is how to get people to hang on to your postcard once they receive it. A small square with your local NFL schedule might work. Some people will use a coupon.
If it wasn't for the $ in $crap, it would just be.....

I really like the thought you have put into your logo. Awesome idea.

One strategy I use to help my customers keep my business information is, I had 250 business card sized refrigerator magnets printed up, I give them to customers where I make pick ups. I can't remember how much it was to have them printed up, I remember it being more than my normal business cards, but it wasn't much more. Also, if you make some pick ups where no one is home, you can stick the magnet to their mail box.

    Happy Scrappin !!!

Graphic designers, good ones, are never cheap, but when you consider the true cost of your logo over the years you will be in business it is a lot of recognition for very little money.

I aqree. I told the designer what I wanted, he came up with some great logos but this one was my favorite. We tweeked it together and I am happy. The opinion of you folks really matters as we all have this business in common. Definately worth every penny spent in my opinion. Ill post soem pics of my truck and trailer soon. They will be next to be lettered (I hope). Thanks again for the compliments and suggestions.

Outside is fine (I think) but not inside. That company that passes out the new lil yellow phone books puts them in a bright yellow bag and hangs them from the flag arm. I see them all over our county.

I like it thirsty. I mainly went with plain and simply and so far it works. I am going to have it redone a little classier soon, but still the same thing.

I plum overlooked the "postcard" part, yeah, that's a cool postcard. My first impression was it was a business card, and it reminded me of a timber seeker who was by here recently. driving a $100k pickup, and bragging about how rich his boss was, decent fella, but I really didn't want to sell
