No problem. The central post office is very thorough with their follow up calls. They were very helpful and walked me through the whole process. It sounds like they are trying to counter emailing, their #1 rival. I say anything we can do to contribute to keeping workers up and running and re-investing in our own country, you've got my business. Plus for 14.5 cents delivered a piece, how can you go wrong.

Agreed KZbell. They can hold a charge. I believe its line going from the condenser tobthe coils. But I'm not an HVAC guy.

So how much was the total on 900 of these?

Total for 956 delivered was 138.00 I had my cards designed and printed through the same guy that did my logo. I had 1000 business cards and 1000 postcards printed to USPS spec. I think he did a great job.

A lot of the ac units have valves on them and upon removing them,prior to any disconnection of electrical or freon lines the technician can close the liquid line valve and push the contacts in manually then the freon will be "sucked into the compressor".This can only be done if the unit is considered functional.The unit will only hold so much "juice".While doing this the tech will watch his Gage's and will know when to close the liquid line valve.Now to my point,just because the unit has the line set(copper lines)cut does not mean that it has been evacuated!Be careful when stripping any unit and don't assume anything!

Roger that! Ill have a HVAC fiend take a looksy first.

I'm new here. Did an intro already. I have an HVAC background. New R-22 goes for about 90$ per pound new. If you had a recovery unit, recovery tank, and an EPA card the used refrigerant can also be sold to wholesale houses. A better bet is to hook up with a dealer. They will clean the refrigerant and reuse it. There cost on a 30# tank is about 350$ dollars from wholesale house. Probably could get 100$ for 30# of used R-22.
