Wouldn't be worth it to me, but that is me.

Since the pumps have to be food grade, they might be stainless. Worth a shot in the dark and he might have other stuff laying around.

even if you break even on the scrap... you may have a chance to network and explain what you can offer. tell him about what you take and talk about ewaste and other stuff.. he may have things lying around he didnt think you could scrap. if you're not doing anything else, why not go for it.

it also may have brass valves. just to push the margin a little

The other thing to think about is the more than scrap value. Thats called a syrup rack, and depending on lots of factors they are over 300 bucks new since that one looks like it has the pumps on it also. You might be able to sell it to someone that has a gas station, restaurant or anything else where they have fountain drinks.

WAIT THIS MIGHT BE WORTH MONEY. I work a crappy part time job at a Steak house and we have two of these, what you put on them is Boxes full of Soda starch or what ever you add water too to make the soda, but you put almost like 50 pound boxes of soda liquid on it and plug it in and it connect to a soda dispenser to dispense soda, like at McDonalds those when you fill the drink up yourself, one of those. It might be more then Scrap value.

Yes, this is worth money. Anywhere with fountain drinks uses these like Kochy said. All the pumps and lines look good. We have a bigger one at the chain restaurant I work at that holds 600 lbs. of concentrates. We get our equipment from a national account but "mom and pop" type smaller places might be looking for stuff locally. If he's got something like this, he might have more commercial grade stuff worth way over scrap value.

If you plan to go for it call him and ask to take the ad down. It secures it as yours that way. He could be telling 10 guys to show up at that time, and first guy gets it

If you told him you'd take it, you better get your ass over there! Don't be one of those Craigslist people who says "Yeah, I'll be there tomorrow" and then tomorrow rolls around and this guy waits all day for you only to be stood up. I can't stand that and if you are serious about scrapping, you've just made a bad name for yourself. Word spreads quickly.
