Ok went out and talked to the owner of the company. Got a different story from him. They get more than one model. Some are cheap with just battery and cables, some have the compressor and lights, some of the nicer larger ones too. They do not even try to fix them. They usually have bad batterys so not cost effective to fix.
They did go through a phase of pulling cables and batterys from 1 or 2 pallets. They have more pallets with everything still on them.
They showed me the ones that they had apart and there is a small charger(Basicly cell phone charger). Two small low grade PCB 1 is about 1.5" x 6" other is about .25" x 1" avery small electric motor bolted to a air pump. The pump is alum but very samll and would have to unbolt from motor. A few short sections of insulated wire.
I told them the ones without batterys and cables are worthless and I would charge if that is all they gave me. (they currently can not get rid of them becuase of the PCB inside)
The owner said it was not worth their time to do anything to them he would like to make a deal for the complete units. The problem is he said he gets $7 for the one size battery. It weights about 13# and at $0.28 so $3.64. His place deals in alot of batteries and they send them in by the truck load. So maybe he does get that much.
Then there is the cables anywhere from 1 - 4 ft Maybe #8 or 6 insulated. Then some have the airpump and PCB and some dont.
I need to get back to him tomorrow. I think I will say I will take them but not really wanting to pay anything for them. I have to transport them and deal with the disposal of the plastic.
They did give me 2 units with batteries and cables so at least I paid for my gas to run out there
