Question Where can you sell other components recovered from PCBs?

Where can I sell components recovered from circuit boards such as capacitors, resistors and the like?

I think this topic has been raised before and I have never seen a definitive answer......I just throw it in with shred but it's probably worth more than that

Just my opinion, but I don't think there is much of a market for those kind of things, especially used stuff. Depending on the kind of capacitor, the price of a capacitor costs about the same new as a used one on Evilbay. Plus, you can trust that it works and not have to take the risk of buying a bad component, and it possibly causing more damage to the board if it shorts.

This lot on ebay closes in about an hour, and no one bought it even though it was $3.00. 5pcs Used 4700uF 35V 85°C Electrolytic Capacitor | eBay

You can buy similar capacitors for $1.31 each if you buy ten from this site, for new ones. SLPX472M035A3P3 Cornell Dubilier | Mouser

Again, just my opinion, but I don't think it's worth your time to try and resell those things.

Well the issue is that i will be having ALOT of all types of components..anything gold or silver containing will be processed by me...but the rest needs a home...and shred sounds like a bad idea considering im starting a recycling business.
