I saw a post some one reccomended on U tube the other night, in fact I watched several.

U tube can be a great thing but, it can also be sa very bad thing.

the vids are usualy very short, the problem there is , not enough time to fully cover a subject.

many on u tube are very inventive and very smart. However smart, inventive, and educated have nothing to do with common sence or even truth.

I saw a guy some one said had 85 very educational vids on his site. in one he was blasting away at a crt with a shot gun out side sitting on mother earth.

others wwere claiming how to recover gold from computer parts. most of these vids are 3 or 4 minits long.

noobs: this is how restrictive regulations get passed, people get put out of business, and people die.

after watching one of these vids, apply some common sence, if it was that easy every one would be doing it.

in the last 6 months I have seen the price I pay for my scrap increase 30%. and the sell price drop 30%

some people are now paying $10 or more for scrap towers. sure they wont last, but in the mean time they are costing the real scrappers their lively hoods. just my .02
"anyone who thinks scrappin is easy money ain't doin it right!"

I do offer you my apologies if something OriginalFeets did or said has offended you olddude. I am the one who recommended him to the forum. Sure, him shooting a monitor was a bit childish, but then again I have shot at a bunch of things while target practicing. He DOES have some good ideas on scrapping and some inventive ways to go about it. I did not however claim him to be the authority on scrapping.

Again, I am sorry if my recommendation to watch his videos has caused you some kind of discomfort. Have a blessed day Olddude.

I am not offended , and I did watch the video, as I try never to stop learning. there is some good info on the net and on u tube as I stated. but also some bad. I simply said use some common sence when using info from any where including me.

Thanks olddude. I had the same response as you. He had some interesting information...but the lack of conscience on some of these youtubers is a little troubling.
