The list of ECM/BCM numbers is literally hundreds of pages. I always ask my sellers to email me a list of what they have by make and OEM number, then I can find out which ones are good and what they're worth.
I can offer a few hints that might help. Some ECMs that you would think are junk are actually pretty good. Many numbers of the older OBD1 Fords are good, but most of the newer OBD2 ones are junk. Newer Chryslers have a fair amount of decent ones. GMs are hit-and-miss, and GM BCMs are often better than the ECM from the same vehicle. Most common imports (Toyota, VW, Nissan, etc.) are no good, there's very little demand for them. There are some exceptions to this, of course, but good
core import ECMs are pretty scarce in my experience.
The best thing to do is to have them all checked by a buyer that deals with them. I hope this helps some.
