Still waiting to hear back. I applied on friday morning, nothing as of 10am this morning. Hoping they accept my registration. Or at the very least tell me if and why they wont!
If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

yeah i havent heard anything either i think i am about to call them.
I got a call but was working and couldnt take it. He left a voice mail. My issue is I work till 5 or 6 and cant catch them during their business hours... gonna email them tonight and see if they will communicate with me that way.
i called them and **** who i talked to was pretty **** dumb. How do these big companies get big when you have morons working for you lol.
i contacted a shop that rebuilds bmw ecu's/dmes etc. i have a box full of them they told me they would be interested in purchasing them from me but never got back to me.... this has made me think pursuing this further may be worth while
Well i got my account up and going.Hopefully i can make some extra money with this new system or should i say tool.
I today i got my cars and took time in puling of extra stuff and i be ****ed if no part numbers where matching up lol.But i did come across 2 parts on 1 car that matched up and combined are worth $100.So thats some bonus money for me i am liking it so far.Just wish more stuff matched up.
Do you need a business to get an account at RAS? I only do a few cars here and there so not sure if I would qualify.
I just buy whatever from the auction and anything that matches there part numbers and pays decent i will take it off.it is just bonus/extra money for me.
Riverside yes you have to have some type of business.I have a business
John,
But will they set up an account in my name or will I need to use a business name to get the checks made out to? Yea I can make up the other stuff.
I set it up in my name
I live about an hour from them and go down every other month
No where in CT is further then about 2 1/2 hours from them >> Do you plan on bringing your parts to them?
If so all you need is a drivers license or other proof of ID and they buy the parts and cut the check
Check drawn on BOA >> I stop on the way out of town and cash it about 10 mins after I get it
I plan on delivering the parts to them. The big thing for me is to access to the software to get the pick list.
I used a Company name to get the access and then just a drivers lic the first time I went there
after that , just your name is needed unless you have cat's >> Then they want to see ID
Riverside Towing
Riverside Salvage
a couple nice company names
I am registered, but I can only find a page where you input the year/make/model and it gives you what parts off that particular vehicle they are buying, mostly just starters, alternators/calipers/steering racks. I even tried inputting a 92 Dodge Stealth to see if the ECU would show up but it does not.
