    need a little help with server switches

    recovery going slow. had a little set back. but every thing is ok. that said, I cant remember whats inside the big net work server switches.



    got a bid request on 400 of them and need to know whats in them to bid them. seeems I remember not much.

    does any one have aphoto of one open ?

    Got a pic of them? I know I had a bunch of switches that had nothing in them but a bunch of small insulated wire. Not sure what they were for

    Most switches I have taken apart has been only 3 pieces. You have a small power supply board, a board that should be graded at motherboard or peripheral prices which I think are the same prices, and a steel case.

    The one I pictured would probably be a mid grade of some sort Phantom, but that's just my guess, it has 24 ethernet jacks w/gold, plus another plug inside w/ gold tip pins, lots of added junk on there too tho

    Im kind of forced into this one. it is another military contractor we have been working on, and was refered to us by our current contractor/ supplier.

    I just bought them they will be here saturday. hopfully they will lead to the rest of their stuff.

    I would think most server switch boards would be midgrade telecom price. I could be wrong.
