As of now I am giving my local buyer my all in one units free because I don't wanna deal with the glass. Now if I come upon a few hundred of them in will be worth looking into.
I am lucky in as much as my local yard will accept ALL e-waste.
I strip crt monitors and small TVs of the copper yoke, degausing cable, misc other wires, Alum h/sinks, screw the case cover back on and get the princely sum of 5c/lb.

one cavet is if one takes in more than 3 tvs or monitors at a time, you have to give the yard, the name/address and a telphone number of the person you acquired the items from. Once you are in the yard's computer system,which I am, no more problems with dropping off as many tvs/monitors as I can get hold of :-)
