I would expect he wants to be treated like any other grown man most of all.
Exactly. One day I was sitting on a park bench eating some buffalo wings from the local carry out. A homeless man walks up to me and says, "Excuse me, sir. I'm hungry, I haven't eaten all day, and I'll give you $5 for everything you have left in that box." I had 4 wings left. I gave him the food, I took his money, and he was very appreciative. I probably would have given him what I had money or not, but the money that he payed me allowed him to keep his dignity.
So the way I look at is that if you want to help the guy or do him a favor, then do so. But do it OUTSIDE of the business transactions and keep the business relationship strictly business.
